Meet the Conedera family

Hey, remember me?!?!  I've been MIA thanks to having LASIK, but my eyes healed up and my camera and I were finally able to get back outside and enjoy some photo fun.  For my return session, I spent a lovely(but slightly warm) morning with the Conedera family.  Paul and Brandi were so relaxed it made the entire shoot a breeze, and the boys were two of the cutest I've seen.  Here are a few of my favorites from that day.

Although I can't actually verify it, I'm pretty sure Conedera translates to beautiful
in some language.  Wouldn't you agree?

I'm ecstatic that this sweet moment was captured.  This family is clearly full of love!

And while big brother was poking at some ants with a stick (which happens to be a little boy's primary responsibility...so good job Landon!), I took the opportunity to give Dylan the spotlight with his parents.  Look at that face!  Watch out ladies!

Sweet moment #2

If you ask me, Webster needs to redefine cuteness as this:

No worries, Landon had his solo time in the spotlight too! :-)  See ya later, Landon!

Paul and Brandi - thank you so much for letting me spend the morning with your
precious family to capture what I hope are priceless memories for you!

Meet the Doering Family

Nothing beats a bright, sunny afternoon at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden!  And it's even better when that afternoon is spent photographing a beautiful family.  Enter, the Doering fam.

These four were so much fun!  This shot (below) in front of the fountain was almost the end of the session because once the kids caught sight of the pond, they weren't too interested in posing anymore.  If Noah had had a vote, he'd have jumped right in I'm pretty sure!

Aren't Kaydence and Noah just the cutest things you've ever seen?  If photos could talk, this one would say, "CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE".  They practiced saying it all week to prepare for our session.  So cute!

How much does Noah like getting his picture taken...?

THIS MUCH!!!

Kaydence told me her favorite color was purple, and luckily, I happened to have a purple flower with me.

Toward the end of the session, while Kyle, Brittany, and I were just chit-chatting, Kaydence and Noah got wrapped up watching some other kids kick a soccer ball around.  They didn't even know I was pointing the camera their way.  Moments like that tend to make some of my favorite pictures.  So so sweet!

Thank you, Doering Family, for a fun-filled photo session!  Kyle and Brittany - you have a couple of the sweetest little offspring I've ever met!  You should certainly be proud! :-)

I wish you all the best on life's journey!

Sarah & Samuel sittin' in a tree

Ok ok, so they weren't so much sitting in a tree as they were standing, but the playground song still applies with these two lovebirds who met me at the Fort Worth Stockyards for a totally fun and laid-back engagement portrait session.

With a little emphasis on the fun...

...and the laid-back...

These two were a dream to photograph!  They are both clearly photogenic, and can I just say, Sarah needed no coaching whatsoever.  She was workin' it for the camera, and the camera loved every second of it!

Doesn't this just make you want to fall in love all over again?!?!

Congratulations, Sarah and Samuel!!  I wish you all the best!!

Just Jack

This handsome little guy is Jack.

Jack likes him some baseball!

And in true toddler fashion, he also likes running around.  A lot.  :-)
He put on quite a show for his momma and me!
That silly shadow of his just wouldn't be still long enough for him to catch it.
What's a boy to do?

I have a feeling he's gonna break some hearts with those killer blue eyes of his, too.
Look out ladies!!

Jack might like baseball, but he LOVES his momma!
Too sweet, right?

Having your picture taken is hard work, and it wore him smooth out.
He could barely keep his little eyes open, but such a precious moment to capture!

The Jones Family

Check out this beautiful family...

Can I just say ... this foursome had me in stitches!  Especially Aidan.  What a character!

Peek-a-boo!

And Abigail is an absolute doll!

Look at those baby blues

Mom and Dad got some well-deserved "just the two of us" shots.  Some of the first, I'm told, since kiddos came into the proverbial picture.

I have to add that we totally lucked out in the weather department. The temperature was perfect, and it was the first day in recent memory without hurricane-force winds wrecking everything.  Two thumbs up for that!

Thank you, Jones Family, for a fun-filled photo session!
